The fact that they are 'convertible' just makes them more versatile. Great for summer vacations since you get 2 in 1. Light weight for packing. Too soon to tell for wear but my guess is they'll be great...they are Columbia!

I purchased one pair for my boyfriend this year. He told me they fit and they felt real good. I had the right size and a color he likes. I also convinced another friend of mine to buy a pair last year and she just loves them.

Not for dress or even casual get-togethers. I bought these as a replacement for some Kamik sandals I had that left black marks with their soles. These are a better sandal, IMO. I use them in a boat for fishing or walking the beach, and they're fine for that. All synthetic, so you can't hurt them wading in water.
