After installing: Please go to www.topo.com, click on the upgrades page, and download TrailSmart National Parks upgrade (version 2.7.7) for Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP/NT 4.0. It's quick and convenient.
When running the program: The information icon (i) at the right in the bar at the top of your monitor opens a menu; at the top you will see Help Using TOPO! (This requires that Adobe Acrobat be on your hard drive.) If you encounter difficulty using it, go to your hard drive and type in: c:\topo! Click on the purple icon showing a question mark (?) and the Help menu will appear.

We have Windows Vista and can only use the topo maps. Yes, I should have checked, but this must be the reason it is so cheap to buy...it won't work on the newer systems.
