It's like thick saddle or bridle leather that conveys a long-lasting durability. Nicely appointed with roomy pockets and a lined interior. The antiqued brass hardware looks great, and the use of snaps is an excellent idea--better than clasps or buckles which can be cumbersome and inefficient. The classic briefcase styling and fine craftsmanship combine for a superb product.
