Fabulous English sweater of soft Merino By ET / cross country skier, snow shoe-er from Ogden Utah on 03/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Mereino wool is the best, Soft, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Best outdoor activities, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great sweater. It is a classic. It seems to be offered in the STP online every year, all the time.
I got it to wear with a down parka for all winter outings wiht local Sierra Club, that sometimes last 3-4.5 hrs. I like to layer and not get COLD. This sweater was a perfect addtion to my ourdoor gear for cold weather. I have a dog so I got the charcoal. Perfect. Images shared by: ET / cross country skier, snow shoe-er
By beckyleeprice from Pittsburgh, PA on 03/15/2009 Cons: Looks Cheap, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this originally in medium b/c other reviewers had commented that it ran small. The medium was HUGE and had to be exchanged for a small. OTOH, the medium looked good, with cables all over, including the back of the body. The small only has cables in the front, with a plain back; I think this makes the sweater look cheap, and it's not a cheap sweater by any means. Plus, in the medium the sleeves came down to my fingertips and the sleeves in the small hit me above my wrist bones, over a 6 inch difference in sleeve length between sizes?? The neck, however, didn't give me a problem. I have an average length neck and while the neck of the sweater goes right up to my chin, I like this in a warm winter sweater; and it's not too tight or hard to get off.
