She could wear them on PE days since they play like a sneaker, but look dressier. My main problem is just that the strap no longer fastens with the velcro, which means she really can't wear them on PE days. For a shoe this pricey, I'd expect better quality :-(

They're on their way back. Not sure why they're such a pricey shoe, either!

My daughter wears a size 12 but some customer comments stated these shoes run a little small so I ordered the 13, they're a size too big! In my opinion these shoes run true to size. They didn't have a size 12 so we'll just wear thick socks, too cute not to keep.
