Which pushes the foot farther back then where it should be. Other than that, these are very comfortable and have nice support.

The problem though is that I can't get my foot far enough forward to keep them on my feet when I walk. It seems as if the strapping is sewn too short or too tight. Perhaps they need to be stretched at a shoe repair because I haven't been able to wear them long enough to break them in, if that is what is needed. I wear a 5.5 but always buy 6 in sandals. I will take them to the shoe repair to see what they suggest. I just love clunky sandals that are comfy and though I'm disappointed that these aren't perfect right out of the box, I don't give up easily so will try to find solution.
