By runner girl from Davis, CA on 05/27/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry/Exit Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The buckle around the top makes the boot quite an ordeal to put on. Once they are on they are ok, but the toe is a bit too square so it's clunky looking.
By Lenscap from Santa Fe, New Mexico on 04/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Stylish Cons: Difficult Entry/Exit Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Eclectic, Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Odd manner in getting the boots on and off. They ran long on me, so I exchanged them for a half size smaller. But I love them! They are so comfortable; no breaking in period, no tight spots--I just wore and wore them! I wear them in wet and cold weather--I wear them to the office under ankle length skirt and they look great. Very practical and stylish for me during cold weather.
Nice boots, strange buckle By Doc from Austin, TX on 04/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable Cons: Difficult Entry/Exit Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good-looking boots for casual wear or even work. The heel is not too high, even for me who detests high heels, and there's plenty of toe room. These boots definitely have a quality-look. The only down-side, which has been beaten to death in other reviews, is the strange design of the top buckle: after putting in a side zipper, supposedly for easy entry, the designer then put a top buckle that must be buckled and unbuckled anyway. This seems counterproductive and is somewhat annoying but is not a deal-breaker, at least not for me. Just be aware, as you surely must be if you are reading these reviews. I have very narrow, slim feet and ankles, and I was unable to just slip my feet in without actually unbuckling the buckle, so I'm guessing most people would have to buckle and unbuckle every time they put these boots on. Don't worry. It's not horrible. And this is an incredible price for these great boots.
