By Roger from Monterey, CA on 11/01/2009 Best Uses: Daily Use, Hiking Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wouldn't wear these socks in western type of boots but are fine with hiking boots. I like the extra cushioning.
By Dr. Fog DPT from Long Beach, CA on 10/31/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cushy, Wicks Away Moisture Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used these socks to hike Mt. Whitney in October. It was chilly in the shade and warm in the sun, but the socks kept my feet warm and dry, without causing blisters.
By pafmarwak from OR on 10/31/2009 Pros: Regulates Temperature Well Cons: Bunches Up, Slide Down, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These work okay in tall Hiking Boots but constantly slide down in regular shoes. Both my husband and myself purchased these socks and we both noticed the sliding down problem and we were constantly pulling on the top of the sock. I guess these make good 'slouch' style socks:*)
