Haven't used these pants on the trail yet. However, I was very pleased with the feel of the fabric (cotton) and they fit nicely. Plenty of useful pockets. The zippers worked smoothly and I was able to get the legs off & on easily. The shorts look great!
The pant legs are wider than I like, but that's probably good for scrambling boulders. They will need hemming.
These are better looking (and made) than some pants I've tried on at much higher prices!

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are exactly as described. They are not for a 100 degree summer day or as a quick-dry option. They are a tough, camping type of pant. Not as heavy as work pants, nor as light as twill slacks. A middle weight canvas.
