Its heavy and beautiful, made of quality material in nice subtle colors. Europeans value quality and don't have as many temporary "throw-away"items as Americans. This is the third one I've purchased for our family or as a gift. Ideal for cool mornings and evenings or for winter days when you'd feel guilty about turning the heat up in the house. Visitors always admire it and ask where to get it.
