While the sole feels a little thin, my feet felt great the entire trip. No blisters, hot spots, or sore spots. However, both boots are beginning to rip near the toe. I will be sending these back which is too bad because I really liked the fit and weight of these boots.

By zen master from northridge, ca on 07/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, SUPER light Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: OK ankle support, but the sole is a little thin, and the tread fails completely in spring snow. No cushon in the step. This product seems to be better styled for the low top version. I will try to return it. I wouldn't use it for trail running either b/c of the thin sole. Good flexible construction overall though.
