By shoe abuser from Coastal, WA on 10/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Daily wear, Slippery Terrain, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Trekking, Working Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm using the boots as my everyday boots and they broke in almost immediately, they are narrow which is good for me as well as the fact that they don't have great arch support also good for me, I'm flat footed high arch supports hurt my feet. The boots have hard soles but good traction on just about everything except wet rock the downside is the tread holds and tracks a lot of dirt. I'm skeptical about the boots being waterproof although I must say to this point my socks have been dry at the end of the day, but I don't make a habit of standing in deep puddles.
Lightest Hunting Boot on the Planet! By Rick from Michigan on 10/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Hunting and Climbing Describe Yourself: Professional Guide Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The secret to these boots is their extreme light weight, adequate ankle support and waterproof. I bought these for warm to moderate weather hunts where I walk many miles in one day. Most boots are much heavier and if you add up the difference for every step make your legs lift several tons of extra weight per day. These are like running shoes with ankle support! I wear them with knee high Bridgedale ankle fit, merino wool skiing socks for a PERFECT combination. The only knock on these boots is the cheezy joke of a footbed insert and a relatively hard sole. I get painful plantar fasciitis without superior arch support so I added a Powerstep insole which made these boots into long distance walking machines!
