On the waist they would be too big. This makes the rise a little long, but they work well for yoga pants. The other reviews that say they wrinkle too easily are misleading. Yes they wrinkle - but they are linen/rayon. Those fabrics always wrinkle! The white is great though a tad sheer. You will have to pick your under garments carefully.

Were way too big, so had to return them for a small petite, which fit perfectly. Of course, I am "blessed" with hardly any rear, so perhaps I should have ordered the small in the first place. Terrific color (wine).
