Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

I used these bags for a rafting trip on the Colorado river and canyon hiking trip in Zion in August. I had inadvertantly left one bag in the front of the paddle boat I was in. The front of the boat was hit with several large waves of water during the rapids desent completely drenching the bag. All items including my $$$ camera stayed perfectly dry. Easy to stow in any backpack as well, good product, good value. Get the larger bags (20,25L bags) the smaller bags will not store many items

This is a great sack for the value. I recently used it on a kayaking expedition to hold my LowePro SlingShot 100 camera bag, and it worked great. [You can cram that thing in the smaller 15L bag, but it takes some serious pushing and tugging to get it in and out.]
They recommend you double up bags with electronics. Didn't test things with either one bag or two. In calmer waters, I typically went to one bag (for easier access), and the single bag had no problem repelling light water from the surf and paddling.
It's basically identical to the Pinata food storage bag, except for a couple of slight cosmetic differences and no hanging cord. But you could easly use this as a hanging bag, as the double hanging loops at the bottom are quite durable.
All and all, a great dry sack. I expect to log many miles with this sack.

I bought a couple of these in different sizes for kayak camping trips. They have worked out very well and add little weight to your load. The air purge is a bonus at these prices. As the name implies, they are lightweight - not like the heavy vinyl dry bags - so they take some care if you want them to last. Bottom line - if you throw your gear around go with the heavier weight bags. If you're careful with your gear, you'll love these bags.

Much lighter than traditional rugged bags. This lines my Kelty backpack for canyoneering and keeps everythign nice and dry. I also stuff the smaller 5L versions with extra clothes for a camp pillow.
