A bit uncomfortable to inflate. Does not quite self-inflate fully, one has to top it off by blowing into it, which is tricky to do without losing the air already in the pad. The velcro straps to hold the mattress together should have been attached at the bottom of the mattress, as is one will easely loose or misplace them.

admittedly, the instructions say to inflate/deflate several times before using, but I decided to return it. I dont mind blowing one of these up the last few puffs, but this didnt want to self-inflate at all. Also, I am 6 feet 210 lbs, and it was very narrow for me.

Very easy to pack and it comes with velcro ties. I unrolled the pad and let it inflate on it's own for about 30 minutes. Then I started blowing into it to fill it up. I successfully filled it with air, but the trick was to not take my mouth off the blow hole so that no air would escape. It stayed inflated all night. It was really easy to deflate and compress.

This sleeping pad has all the features of pads that I spent four times as much on. I wish it weighed less, but it is still on the lighter end of the spectrum and so very inexpensive. On the plus side, the pad is nice and long. Good buy!

If you depend on the self inflation feature, buy something else.
