Closeouts. The Pacific Outdoor Equipment stove seater functions as a sturdy base for your canister stove. It also works great as a seat, and even has checker and backgammon boards on the back side.

This is nothing more than flip flop material glued together. There isn't any rigidity to this and would offer no aditional stability to your stove. And FYI, the game boards on the back are too small to actually play on.

The website description says this item is made of "polyurethane with EVA foam". I think I had the idea that there would be some rigidity to it; my bad. It is soft and extremely flexible. When backpacking or kayak camping, I have found the need for a flat surface for my stove. Unfortunately, this is not it. It may help some. Also it may be a good thing to put in a pack if a little more padding is needed. But also note that it dents very easily. [...]IMHO not worth it.

This is just a piece of foam with a couple of circles incised halfway. The markings on the bottom side that constitute the game boards have partially rubbed off before I even used it. It is not a sturdy base and indeed could even make things less level. I guess it could make a seat cushion for a tiny person. It is worth a lot less than I paid, and I got a big discount...

    • Answer This stove seater is not a USCG approved flotation device, nor will it shield you from a forest fire.
