Pacific Trail Chelan Falls Jacket (For Men)

I liked these jackets so much that I bought some for family and a backup for myself. That says everything!

This jacket is the best mid-weight item I've found in the last several years. Since the weather here in Colorado varies so drastically, I was looking for something to layer with my sherpa hoodie. This coat arrived the same day it got down to about 1 or 2 below. I walk a dog in the evening and this jacket along with my hoodie was PERFECT! It blocks the wind and keeps the heat in. I was shocked at how well it insulated in the deep freeze. Please bear in mind that I was only out for about 1/2 hour. Obviously this is not a below 0 jacket by itself. However, for what this jacket does, it does exceptionally!

It doesn't get really cold here, so this is the perfect weight for our mild winters.

I finally found the perfect jacket I was looking for. As I already have a mega-pound cold weather parka, I wanted something for in-between weather that would shed the rain and snow, with outhout being too bulky. This jacket certainly fits the ticket. The outer shell is much stronger and stiffer than I expected. it is very well designed and fits perfectly. I am 6 foot 2 inches, with rather long arms, and the XL fit perfectly well which is a rarity. Usually the the sleeves are short, but this is just right, which is a first. The deep outside lined pockets are a plus, much larger than standard.

The picture shows more of a tapered fit, but that is not the case. Everything else is good. Overall, it is a nice jacket and well worth the price that Sierra offers it for.

I bought this for my dad, and he loves it.

I intend to use this jacket everyday when I go to work during the cold season. It is light and warm enough for relatively short time that I spend outdoors.

It's a nice jacket, but a little more ordinary than I had hoped. The photo seemed to be more form fitting than the jacket actually is, so it's a little bigger than I had hoped. But it's a nice jacket and should wear well. Anxious to see how it performs in our Canadian winters...
