Bought this in the lime green for my pre-teen, and the pink for her toddler sister. The smaller jacket held up, although I wouldn't buy it again. We are in eastern MN so our winter is harsh and lasts from Oct-April sometimes, so these coats must take daily use for several months and stand up to frequent washings. The green jacket seams gave out in several places so, by December, my daughter's coat was nearly in shreds. We had to abandon it completely mid-winter and she went back to an Old Navy ski jacket we've kept around for over 4 years! My toddler's coat had fewer problems - mostly faric wear around the cuffs and hem, but the inside fleece has pilled and the whole thing just looks raggedy so washing doesn't even brighten it up. The poly fabric on the outside is super thin and this was not warm enough for our -30 degree temps (wind chills). I would not recommend this and will honestly probably not even give this brand another chance in the future. If your winter temps don't drop below the teens or twenties, and you have a much shorter timeframe to wear these, AND you don't expect your kiddos to do much sledding, skiing, or serious outdoor activitiy, then these will be cute little jackets. But they are not workhorses like what we need in MN.

I am serving in Afghanistan and I bought these jackets for Operation Warmth, which is a project to donate warm clothing to Afghan Orphans. I'm sure that they will love the jackets because they have very little.
