I am overweight and since many of the other brand shirts are cut "slim" they don't really fit. Even though the name is Panhandle "Slim" they are cut to fit in the larger sizes

It definitely runs large - my husband normally wears a medium and the medium is pretty big on him. We've decided to keep it, in case it would shrink too much in the laundry, but suspect he could have worn a small in this brand.

The other reviewers right material is great. I normally wear XL in dress shirts and have to deal with a lot of extra material through the waist. These Panhandle Slims are athletic fit shirts. I bought 5 different types and they are all large and they look tailor made for me. I'm 6'2 200 lbs with a 33" waist.
