They do seem a little narrow--even though they are long and stretchy--somehow they don't redistribute length for width as much as they might. It hasn't been cool enough to wear them yet, but they are soft and not scratchy and I expect them to be good boot socks for the winter.

My only complaint is that since they are a bit loose for me who usually wears size 6.5 shoes. The leg area feels loose too. They tend to side down my legs after a while.
