Reviewed by LESM from WA on Wednesday, March 27, 2013I purchased these socks on closeout at a great price. Since it's a closeout, I don't know whether Sierra Trading Post will have them again. If they do, I'd probably buy them again. Although it's too soon to say whether the socks will wear well over time, my initial impressions are quite favorable. They fit well and seem to have good elastic, meaning they don't fall down while wearing them. I've seen some reviews that the socks don't provide warmth. I'd agree but then I don't believe they are designed for this purpose. They are a dress sock, designed to look well with slacks or trousers.

I have found Pantherellas hold up better/longer than my other brands of dress socks (Donna Karen, Hugo Boss) in terms of wearing through the bottoms. Hopefully these will also hold up well on the bottoms because they are not cheap.
