I bought this to provide additional protection from the sun. I love this hat because it provides the protection I was looking for but still allows for the breeze to keep me cool..

I have 2 colors: red and light brown - use everyday here in Dallas to protect from brutal sun with style and comfort.

I will probably just use this for gardening when it's hot but not windy. The lightness of weight is comfortable but will fly off in any wind. The texture is very paper like. I'm not wild about this hat but the price isn't worth the effort to return it.

This hat is perfect for summer walks or time in the garden.

I put the hat to use for sunny day outings. It can be used at the beach, at the botanical gardens or zoo, or hanging out on the playground with a child. It is comfortable and the brim can be adapted to suit your fancy.

I bought this hat in the brown color as a gift for a friend's mother, who will turn 80 this year. She loved it, says it is "bonita." I would have kept it for myself but I thought, well, she's giving me tomatoes from her vegetable garden, so I'll be nice. It looks great on her. The paper material makes it lightweight and breathable, and the construction is very good, tightly woven crown and firmly stitched brim. We like the brim up, so it frames the face. Wonderful product.

Just spent a delightful day at the beach in this fab hat! It was great for sun protection. I wear it with the brim flipped down, very cute!
