Closeouts. The unique latch collar gives this Paperwhite shirt a crisp air of formality, with two narrow button tabs spanning the neckline and a front placket overlay that comes to a point 4" above the hem.

I had three other Paperwhite shirts that I love but hesitated because of the latch collar. Usually, I do not wear collars that button up to the neck. I took a chance and got this shirt. Like a previous reviewer, easily removed the "latches", pressed it and one would never know it had those little tabs on the collar. The elbow patches are a little quirky but the fabric is so high quality, that these really don't bother me. I can dress it up with pearls or wear with jeans. Great find!

I needed a simple white blouse for work, and this looked like it would fit the bill. Figured I would remove the tabs and button on the collar (which both came off easily without ruining the collar)but was surprised to see the "patches" on the elbows (like on men's blazers). The patches are the same fabric as the rest of the sleeves, so not horribly noticeable, and I was planning to wear it under sweaters/jackets so won't show. Not enough of an oddity to send back, and the fabric is absolutely lovely.

This is a nice white shirt, but I returned it and purchased a different Paperwhite style because this one was just not as flattering on me. The latch collar and detailing were stylish and it is a lovely shirt. As with all Paperwhite shirts, this one is beautifully made with high quality cotton. I found the size 8 true to size (5'9" - 132)
