From a distance it looks like a fitted long-sleeved tee, but it's constructed in an unusual way, with two layers in the body. That makes it significantly warmer than similar shirts, and fully opaque (I ordered white and there's no see-through). It's very well-made with nice details. I would never pay full price for one, but at twenty-something dollars it's a good buy. Like all my rayon clothes that say "dry clean only," I just put this in the washing machine and dryer and it came out fine. The Medium size is a true medium (about a size 8).
