Verified Buyer Reviewed by JMo from Santa Barbara, CA on Tuesday, August 19, 2014Bought this for my Mom who is very short and plump. I had to order the XL to comfortably fit around her ample mid-section, so it makes the sleeves waaaaay too long and the neckline a bit too loose. Even so, the price was amazing for a mostly cotton, charmingly autumnal unlined sweater jacket and the right length for someone like my Mom who is so short. Great colors in the marled orange, grey cream tones and fun fringe make this sweater a keeper … with alterations.
Reviewed by Wine-loving CPA from Minnesota on Friday, April 11, 2014Very comfy sweater with a classy and professional look. The zipper is a parka-style zipper that can be opened at the bottom or at the top. I find that I have to be careful that I do not inadvertently catch the fringe when I close the zipper, but I don't mind since it is such a beautiful sweater. Even though this sweater content is largely cotton, it is a very warm sweater. Although this is a bit expensive for a sweater, it can be dressed up or dressed down and is a very flexible addition to one's wardrobe. I would have given this 5 stars if the highlighting color had been something other than orange.
Reviewed by Dion thesweater lover from Wisconsin on Saturday, December 7, 2013I am so pleased with this sweater/jacket! The tweedy overall affect of this garment, with its yarn-looped trim and and heavier weight yarn, makes for a warm, attractive jacket. It is versatile, and can be worn with jeans,as well as dressy slacks or skirts. What a fabulous addition to the fall/winter wardrobe!
Reviewed by Bee Club from Colorado on Thursday, November 14, 2013This sweater is actually more orange in person. I usually don't like orange, but the sweater is beautiful. I usually wear either an xs or s and I ordered both. I am 5'7 and weigh about 105lbs. Both fit fine with the xs being more fitted...depends on how much room you want. It is nicely tailored. The problem for me was the arm length in both sizes were too short. On the model they look like a good length, but on me they were about n an inch shorter. If you like that style, the sweater is great. I can't stand those sleeves that are neither 3/4 nor full length so I sent them back.
Reviewed by sunnykat from Iowa on Sunday, November 10, 2013I like the closer fit; it's nice and snug for winter days. It also drapes well. NIce warm colors!
