I am between 6 and 6 1/2. I ordered 7 as recommend and ended up with a gap in a front part of the shoe. Sadly, they are going back.

I plan to take them travelling as they are light and squashable. These are also good if you are adapting to barefoot or minimalist running shoes. If you're looking for a lot of support, these are not for you.

Question “Can you waterproof the exterior manmade material?”

Answer I cannot see why you could not apply a waterproof spray to these shoes. Since the uppers are made from synthetic leather, they may be fairly water resistant already.

Answer The insoles are removable so you should be able to fit a more supportive insole in the shoe.
