I wear these for casual days at work and out and about. I think they are cute, however 2 others have told me these boots look like liners from snow boots. But I didn't listen to them. :-) They are fun to wear!

I bought the 7 1/2 orange. Fit and warmth are better barefooted. Orange color is fun, but I bet the grey does more to hide the unattractive shape or lack of. I will get rid of the tag inside and cuff the boots half way to ease with the on and off process. Mostly I will wear around the house or running errands about town. I am not too vain to undervalue the comfort and warmth. However, people I know, would not see anything pass the bright orange unshapelyness (?)Would not bother to recommend, they wouldn't listen

I loved these boots for their warmth and coziness, and after a week or two I got more excited about their goofy shape and color (green). I get a lot of looks and smiles when I wear them. BUT, my feet are getting wet every time I wear them! I mean, really wet....soaking wet socks after ten minutes. I'm wearing them in the snow, and it's true that snow tends to melt and get slushy, but I don't think my feet should look like I waded through a puddle after ten minutes in the regular old snow. Disappointed.

I love orange, love hippy looking comfortable shoes, love environmental sensitivity that Patagonia has, but the look of these was somehow off for me. Didn't like the leather lacing and small area of leather on the toes paired with wool. They were super warm and toasty and I would have kept just for that if I didn't need them to wear out of the house, or if the lacing wasn't so cumbersome.

I bought these boots last spring and finally got to wear them this winter. I love them. They're warm. They keep my feet dry, though I have warn them in deep snow, I haven't warn them in slushy snow. I love the way my ankle feels supported too. In the uneven snowy ground in Michigan, it's easy to twist your ankles. Warn with pants, and pants legs down, they look kind of like an orange felt sneaker. I don't think they're ugly at all (I'm more in the 'they're cute' camp), but I guess it's a matter of taste. They look less odd on than they looked in the picture. I'm really pleased with these boots.
