Patagonia Backcountry Guide Climbing Pants (For Women)

The truth is I have not put these to the test being that it's not winter yet! But, my Husband has a male version and they have been great ski/outdoor pants! He's a snow-maker and in the elements. I tried them on and tried some lunges! Plenty of range of motion and vents on the thighs! I'm 5 feet tall and 115 pounds. I got a size 8 because 6 was not available. 6 would fit better but the suspenders help and the length with be less with my boots on. Very excited for the snow to fall!

I've been looking for softshell pants with venting for backcountry skiing, and these are perfect. They fit well, as my other patagonia pants do, and while the light blue isn't great if you're bushwacking or climbing up dirt & rocks, it's a nice light color that works well in the sun. Plus, it adds a feminine touch, which is nice after a few days of camping & skiing. Well made ski pants, with bomber gaiters, intelligent reinforcing in places that matter, and a nice extra pocket. If you're looking for new softshell pants, seriously consider these. If my boyfriend's jealous of my new ski pants, then I know they're a good gear decision!

Pants are a great fit and very comfortable.The suspenders are awesome during activities, helps keep pants up while bending, climbing, etc.

Bought these for my wife for multi-day ski de randonee trips here in the alps. Super technical performing pants but also tres chic in the swanky European mountain-huts. Proof that you can have your cake and eat it too.
