But I liked the look of the shoes and the reviews were positive. The final selling point was STP's great price and return policy. I am SO glad I decided to order them! They were amazingly comfortable right out of the box. I've been suffering with plantar fasciitis, and these comfortable, supportive shoes have been very helpful. I hope I can find another pair in brown, I can foresee wearing these often this fall and winter.

Comfy and attractive shoes!Reviewed by PJ from Wyoming on Sunday, March 30, 2014I have a terrible time finding shoes I can wear all day at work and walk in because I need a lot of support for my sensitive flat feet, so I was delighted that this shoe is very comfortable and looks nice with black pants and jeans (I was tired of the clunky look of my black Dansko professional clog and like the more updated look of this one better). I think I could also wear with casual skirts/dresses and tights. I wear 8.5 M and they fit perfectly (I wear with thin black socks).

They held up well to snow and damp and were grippy enough on wet pavement. I paid full price for that pair so I was ecstatic to see them here and immediately ordered a different color. I do have a narrow foot and I suspect they do run a bit narrow, especially in the heel. They're great for travel, too, since they slip on and off easily but look professional with pants and are comfortable for walking and standing. I don't know what's going on in the footbed, but it works for me, much better than Danskos.

Unfortunately the left one was at least a half size too large, and the right shoe was a half size too small. If they had fit they would have quickly become my favorite pair. Both were marked 'size 10' but they were very different sizes (my feet aren't that different).

Since they are leather they will stretch, so 6-1/2 may have been okay after some wear--however I didn't want to take the chance. They are extremely comfortable and have a narrower look than Dansko's (which look clunky on me). This is a shiny simple shoe that looks good with all pants.
