Patagonia Canyonwalker Wading Boots - Felt Sole (For Men)

i wore these for 2 days on the madison and gallatin last week. no break-in necessary! best boots i have tried ever.

I like just plain felt w/o studs as they tear up my boat deck.

First of all, there is stability without sacrificing comfort in the toe box (you can wiggle your toes but still feel like the boot is on) Second, the lateral stability helps prevent any injuries from turned ankles, etc Walking in them may feel more like a ski boot since they dont flex as much as other boots ive owned i discovered that this is an ingenious design concept because of how the body moves while wading. excellent stability and you don't get sore ankles or shins from standing crooked on rocks. provides a stable platform and is excellent for climbing super-steep banks we encounter on our steelhead rivers. fished in them for 8 hours at a time with no fatigue. great boot.
