    I agree these are a 1/2 size too small, but they don't have any 10 1/2's available, so will stick with these and replace the sole insert with something thinner, as suggested. I love the comment from the roofer. Bottom line: these are like walking barefoot. My first pair of Patagonia slip-ons have an even thinner waffle-type sole, which has been very durable for 2 years.

    I am a roofer and use them for non scuffing traction on steep pitches. I hate "work" boots and always ejoy feeling barefoot at work and these give me the traction and comfort desired. oh and they are beautiful also

    The stock insole is an odd, thick design and makes the shoes ~1/2 size under. Pull it out, drop in a cheap replacement and the shoe is the bomb and true to size.
