    Quality materials. Soles not thick enough to walk long time, though, the picture gives impression of well-constructed sole, supporting the feet. Not for the purpose I bought them for.

    These shoes have a great natural fit with a wide forefoot and toebox so the toes can move and actively engage, but also a snug fit in the heel so it doesn't feel sloppy or loose at all. The soles are very flexible and responsive. My feet are awakened and energized when wearing them. They are kind of like a casual version of Nike Frees. I would rate them a 5, but I've only had them one week, so I don't know how durable they are.

    Think of it as an updated moccasin. All the comfort of a traditional moc with a more durable sole. I always order Patagonia shoes a half size larger than normal because they do run a little small.
