The Patagonia Hiking Shoes are really comfortable and offer outstanding support for my feet - especially my ankles! They feel really firm when walking or taking short hikes. Concerning how I really feel about these shoes - well, I wore out my first pair of Drifters and immediately purchased an identical pair of Patagonia Drifters. At present I am the owner of three pairs of these shoes...off course, they are of different colors.

i loved these shoes since the moment i slipped them on, they felt very comfortable for the 6 months i have had them, and i wore them every day till the sole slip in two!! The longevity of this product was upsetting and I'm afraid i won't be purchasing anything with Vibram soles. They just don't last.

First day out of the box wore them for 9 hours straight and was smiling by the end of the day. A real hiking shoe for sure. Saw that they ran 1/2 size small so ordered up and bang! You won't be disappointed. Pick up a pair or two!

these shoes are exactly what i was looking for. a little clunky but that is why they are waterproof and sturdy. if i'd wanted sneakers, i'd have bought sneakers.

These are nice shoes, especially for this price. Comfortable and nice looking. I used them on several long trips to different locales and wear them around town. I will say that they tend to get stained when they get wet, so treat them w/ a heavy dose of your favorite sealant/repellent. They can also rub in a strange spot at the top and front of the toe-box on constant uphills and downhills. It has been almost 2 years and I still have them, although the sole has worn through at a couple points and they are stained pretty badly. But, I am satisfied and would buy them again.

I love these shoes...great fit...and i love the fact that Patagonia has made them using mostly recycled products...they are a perfect shoe for day hikes and around town...I even wear them for multiday hikes, as they are much lighter than big hiking boots...great shoes for the money...

I looked for awhile to find a shoe that I can hike in and also work on my property with. This shoe has that durability and comfort that is exactly what I need. I like the full leather uppers and when you slip into the shoe it gives you that ahhh experience. I bought two pairs as this shoe is not often found with this quality of comfort and toughness. I ordered a half size larger as advised.

The shoe fits like the description stated about a half size small. They have good traction and are quite sturdy. Haven't done much hiking in them yet but I'm sure they'll do great for light hiking and day hiking.
