I needed something to replace my Merrill everyday hiker/walkers and these are great. Wide enough at the pad of my foot to feel roomy and snug enough at the heel not to slip. I may take them as my only shoe to Europe for walking, biking and light hiking. The light colors will probably get soiled but the price was right.

I have gone through so many hiking boots/shoes and hated so many high end styles. I love this shoe, it is very comfortable and I do not get blisters! I have a wide foot so I have had to buy mens shoes in the past, but this shoe is naturally wide and wonderful.

Used them for my first hike to the top of Sleeping Giant. The trail varies in terrain and the shoes felt great! I never had the feeling of being uncomfortable or unsure in footing. Fit was to size, not too big or too small. Would definitely recommend to any day hiker. Oh, and they're pretty too!!! Next stop Mt. Greylock... or maybe Bear Mountain...
