Patagonia Gilia Nubuck Shoes - Flats, Slip-Ons (For Women)

These are lightweight ballet flats. They don't have much support or cushioning, but do have good traction. I find them very comfortable. I have them in black and they are simple and go with everything. They do not rub on my achilles tendon as many shoes do. The insoles are covered in a nice leather and the leather of the shoe is soft and flexible. I wear these when I want less shoe - sometimes that is actually more comfortable for me. They are also very lightweight and small enough to stuff into an overfull suitcase for traveling, or in your handbag as an extra pair of shoes to change into.

Great shoes. Very comfortable flats. I can wear these during my longest days at work and they are comfortable the entire time. Just wish they had more colors!

I've looked at these shoes for over a year and after finally deciding to order them and receiving them in the mail discovered why they are still in stock. The shoe style is VERY mature and not the typical patagonia styling. I bought them as a comfortable and stylish summer shoe. They were a half size to big, but I could tell that they were well made and probably very comfortable. The color wasn't what I was expecting from the photo, the toe box was a bizarre shape, and the fabric on the edge of the shoe was just plain weird. They look like something a sweet, near retirement, 1st grade teacher would wear. Which isn't to say that it's an ugly shoe, but just not a shoe for anyone under 50.

At first, the back of this shoe dug into the back of my ankle. That went away after a couple wearings. Now they are very comfortable. Not good in dewy grass - get wet fast and take a while to dry. Other than that, no complaints and very cute. True to size.

Not bad looking, but totally lacking in arch support and painfully pinching the nail on the big toe of each foot.
