    The shoe is great. Looks and feels good the first time on even without socks. I wish the laces were a little stronger, they seem like they would tear easily if walking in the woods thru the bush. The leather feels strong and durable yet with a soft insole that wraps the foot for a nice snug fit. The pull up strip on the heel of the shoe is convenient for easily putting the shoe on. Overall great shoe by Patagonia!!

    I bought these mainly for walking, both casual and exercise. Upon receiving them and trying them on, I was distracted by a phone call and after several hours realized I had forgotten that I was wearing them. They seemed "broken-in" right out of the box - and then they just got better. They have an interesting odor - not a "bad" odor - reminds me of my Aunt Emma's farm.

    Really nicely made and and great fit and comfort right out of the box. Not a lot of support, and with thin flexy soul only good for urban use. Really do collapse small for travel. I like these a lot.
