Patagonia Huckleberry Approach Shoes (For Women)

Lightweight and comfortable shoe. Great for the active traveler - I've worn this shoe around the world, and just purchased a second pair for a European trip this summer. These shoes have the added bonus of being made of eco-friendly material and come with Pataogonia's commitment to the environment and product excellence.

Needed a new hiking shoe and this one fit what I was looking for.

These are simply one of the best pair of shoes I have ever owned! Comfort beyond belief, and they fit perfectly to my feet. Can be worn for hiking, walking, or running errands. My feet never tired or hurt when I wore these for two mile walks with my dog. The removable insole has great arch support and is extremely comfortable.

I expected great comfort from Patagonia and I am not disappointed ! I wear them indoor as well.

Good lateral stability and arch support. I ordered 1/2 size up as indicated by other reviews and the fit is fine. They are a bit loose in the heel (not quite narrow enough to prevent heel slipping) but I think with thicker socks this will not be an issue. The shoe laces, although very cute, tend to loosen up easily requiring stopping and readjusting. Overall, for the great STP price, these are a keeper.

I work at a camp and am very active during the day. These shoes were comfortable from the moment I put them on and are versatile enough for all our activities. They really are my new favorite.

I wear my huckleberry's anytime and pretty much everywhere. They are great for all outdoor activities, except maybe watersports. The only issue I had when I first got them was how stiff the were, but over time I got used to it - or they softened up. Make great approach shoes!

The shoes have very good traction and feel stable and secure on rocks. I can even climb some easy 5th-class routes in them. Stiffness is good for scrambling on rocky approach trails, but I wouldn't want to wear these shoes for extended multi-day hiking, though they are comfortable to wear all day. Sometimes after a long hike down-slope I feel that my big toes hurt from the foot sliding forward inside the shoes, though they are not too big otherwise.

I love everything about these shoes. Saw a pair on another climber and ordered them for myself. This is a wonderful approach shoe; comfortable with a sticky sole, and wide enough for my "Fred Flintstone" feet! I am going to buy another pair before they are gone.
