Patagonia Mainland Shorts - Hemp (For Women)

These shorts can be worn as casual or with a nice top, they can be worn as a more dressy short. The fabric looks like linen and can be starched and pressed for dress-up. Very nice. I bought two pairs.

Shorts run a bit smaller than a normal 2- but work fine for me. The material appears to be "linen" like . The price was good on these - otherwise I would not have kept them.

Too small by one size. I'm returning them. If they fit, I'd say they are "ok". Nothing special, but a decent short.

Great fit. I wish there was a zipper rather than just buttons.

These shorts have buttons rather than a zipper placket, and the buttons are hidden in a placket so that you have to button them backward, and the button holes are very stiff. It took me a couple minutes just to get three buttons done. Cute shorts but not worth the headache - I sent them back.

The shorts fit OK until washed, then they shrink.

Haven't worn these shorts yet, but they fit nicely & look good. Based on review I read before buying & brand I expect performance to match looks & fit.

Shorts I can wear in town.

These shorts look great are flattering and best of all comfortable. I bought a size 4 because I liked the colour and no 6 was available. The 4 fits and I bought a 6 in the cream color and they fit too. The 6 is a more loose comfortable fit and the 4 looks a little dressier since it is more fitted. Both look good the 4 is a little snug on the waist but not uncomfortable. The fabric breathes and is really comfortable in hot weather. I have a sage green colour pair of these shorts that I bought almost 15 years ago and I still get asked where I bought them. They wear and wash well and I had not seen these shorts in years and I am glad they are making them again.

I wanted to try out a hemp product to see if it wears as well as I hear. I commute by bike, so that will be part of the test. This is a good looking pair of shorts that I might get away with wearing at work on miserably hot days. Since my weight fluctuates, I would have been happier if they had belt loops, since the thinner I am, the more likely I am to wear shorts.
