When I bought these, I read the reviews. Many of the reviews were about what kind of shoe this is --- a casual loafer or a house shoe. Its not much of a casual loafer either. Whether you use it as an outdoor house shoe or house loafer it is a useful shoe that I will use a lot next winter.
Question
“How much do these weigh? Thinking about replacing my booties with these for base camp; need actual treads, water resistance and durability. Pack size and weight will be important considerations.”

Question
“I have another pair of lace-up mocs that are rather snug (compared with Merrells which are usually the right size out of the box). In light of one of the reviews ("quite snug") is ordering a 1/2 size recommended for Patagonia shoes?”

Answer
They will be slightly tight with the lining, though that will pack down with time. If you are planning on wearing socks with them you make want a half size larger.
