Patagonia Polartec® Fleece Jacote Boots - Waterproof Insulated (For Women)

I bought them because they are Patagonia, cute, a great price and I will need them for the wilds of Vermont next year. I have tried them on, and they are true to size. However, I don't think ladies that you would be able to comfortably wear them with heavy socks and I do not recommend going up 1/2 a size because of potential heel slippage.

Bought these 1/2 size larger for really thick socks and they fit perfectly. Like them so much I ordered a second pair, my normal size, for wear with regular thickness socks. Can't wait to wear them in the cold weather. They really look great!!

Great shoe. Very comfortable and excellent support in the arch's. Highly reccomend this shoe. Looks great too.

was pleasantly surprised with how stylish, and very comfortable, these boots are! would highly recommend these to anyone looking for an outstanding waterproof boot, that is also very comfortable and stylish!

I didn't get these in time to try them out in the really cold weather this year, but they feel great and I'm looking forward to next year's use.

First the pros: These are incredibly comfortable boots. They're warm, waterproof (so far, after a half-winter), and I can just about slip my feet into them without having to use my hands. I suppose they're true to size - I wear the same in these that I do in Merrell's. Now the cons: They slip a little in the heel, but since I wear thick ragg socks almost year-round this is a minor issue. The single biggest problem with these boots is the sole - it's TERRIBLE on ice, wet grass on a slope, or any other slick surface condition. I'd probably even buy them again, but there are just some days when they're not the right shoe to wear!
