    Patagonia makes great shoes. This Mary Jane came in my size 12 so I bought it. They fit well except for the heel. While the foot base was excellent for me, the back seem curved in towards the top, forcing my foot forward. Because it's so hard to find shoes that I like (and I do like these) I cut this seam and glued the edges. Now the shoes have a "V" back at the heel but they are very comfortable. Maybe my heel is straighter than most.

    Very pretty shoes. A little tight where the top of toes meets the foot, but will hopefully stretch, so I'm keeping them.

    These shoes are comfortable right out of the box. I teach and walk all over a hilly campus each day and I look forward to wearing these shoes, which I imagine will hold up to the abuse I give to all of my shoes. The photos posted are accurate--these are cute, casual, sporty mary janes. I couldn't be happier with this purchase
