“The R-1 from Patagonia is an excellent mid-layer for either low-exertion activities or times when the temperature is below freezing. Excellent fit and technical design, with just a few detractions. The zip at the neck seems bulkier than necessary, and the lack of stretch at the bottom hem makes it ride up, even on my slender frame. Regardless, it will go with me on all my winter, spring and fall adventures.”
