Liked the looks and ordered, had a week and the soles are falling apart. I will be returning them

I bought these boots to use for general everyday wear. I live in the country and hike with my golden retriever Sierra everyday in technical rocky trails, so I was looking for something supportive, waterproof, stable, and nice enough looking to wear to the grocery store and for errands. This boot filled all of the criteria and more. The comfort was unreal right out of the box. Zero break in. They are already more comfortable than my gold standard Danner Mtn lite hiking boots that I've worn for 10 years. The appearance is very versatile, with technical clothing, jeans and even khakis. Construction is top notch in every detail (and I looked hard), proof that high quality can come from China. I find them a bit warm, perhaps the waterproof membrane isn't quite as breathable as gore-tex (like my other boots), but the warmth will be welcome in the winter months. I'm curious how the lace loops will hold up over time, but otherwise these boots have exceeded expectations.

Sole falling apart

I admit it... I have 50+ pairs of shoes, but I wear these 3Xs as much as any other pair. I like them so much, I bought another pair for when my first pair wears out... (a long way off).
