Closeouts. Don’t be fooled by the name; Patagonia’s Retro-X jacket has the modern, eco-conscious woman’s needs in mind. Its breathable, windproof barrier is sandwiched between cozy, recycled Synchilla® fleece on the outside and a moisture-wicking mesh lining on the inside.

    I love everything about this jacket: the color, the design, the fit, the warmth, the price. I wanted a wind-proof, warm fleece jacket that was different than what EVERYBODY else is wearing (i.e. Denali!) and I definitely found it with this Patagonia.

    I had reservations about the color when I ordered, but I like it! The cut is definitely a slim fit without room for bulky layers. I think it will be very useful for spring/fall as well as for active wear in cold weather.

    Patagonia typically runs small, so I knew to order a size larger than I normally wear, especially since this jacket is a slim cut. I ordered a size large and it fits like a typical medium which is what I wanted. I ordered two more to give to my daughters as gifts.

    I am really satisfied with this fleece. It has that classic, "retro" fleece style without all the bulk. The under arm and side panels make the fit look great and help keep the bulk down. I use the fleece for everyday wear and for outdoor activities in colder temperatures. I have a different Patagonia fleece with a neck/collar that is high and uncomfortable. This fleece, however, zips fully and remains comfortably under my chin.
