5.0 out of 5 stars. The bestVerified Buyer Reviewed by Flyfishing mike from MI on Wednesday, July 1, 2015Seem like they'd scratch up everything, but they don't. Grip like crazy on rocks and leaves the bottom of the boat without a scratch.

5.0 out of 5 stars. "Bar None" the best wading shoes.Reviewed by Anonymous from Missouri on Saturday, May 16, 2015I could not pass up a good price on what was reviewed to be a good pair of waders. I tried them out on my old stompin ground stream last Friday. I was very satisfied. The shoe was very comfortable and had great support. I usually wear size 12s in a boot and that is what I ordered and it had plenty of room for the sock foot and my high instep. They felt great in and out of the water and felt better than my old spikes walking in and around string. The flat plates seemed to make walking easier and I tried them on moss/algae rocks and wet steep rocks and was amazed at the solid gripping that the bars had. I was surprised how well the aluminum bar system worked. I inspected them when done and the bars do take a beating. They were pitted and scarred pretty well from my first day so I am wondering what the life cycle of the bars are and if there will be replacement sets when needed. They have screws in them so I would assume they are replaceable...if that is all correct then I can find no fault with these great boots at the even greater price. Highly recommended if you can get them in your size during the sale...looks like they are going fast.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Good bootVerified Buyer Reviewed by Au Sable Trout Bum from Michigan on Saturday, April 4, 2015Getting rid of my felts. This boot gives good support. When worn over stocking foot wader, I buy 2 sizes larger. In this boot one size larger than my usual may have sufficed. Can't wear in my drift boat of course. Traction with the bars is very good.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Velcro for my feetReviewed by Portland OR from St Petersburg, FL on Friday, February 27, 2015These are great boots: extremely grippy and very supportive for moderate hiking to/from/through the river. I used these today for the first time on the Sandy River in Oregon. All river rock with out much algae and muck. These stuck to the rocks glue. Coming from a pair of Orvis/Krokers with studs, these are great.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Good gripsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Siletz, OR on Tuesday, January 27, 2015I tried these out for the first time on the Siletz. I had surprisingly good grip in small gravel, on boulders, and on the large smooth bedrock (not sure what kind it is, I'm not a geologist). I wear a size 10 shoe, and ordered these in a size 10. I was concerned that they felt a bit large even with waders and thick socks, but they worked well.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Feet look like Frankenstein feet , but work like a charm.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Washington on Thursday, January 1, 2015The boots make walking on uneven, slippery surfaces stable and secure. Walking on algae slick rocks felt safe and much more secure than the same environment with my previous waders without the bars. The boots aren't bad for walking on the trails to the creek, and once in the water they are supportive and stable. I may not have caught many fish, but at least I didn't slip and slide all over the place.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Rock grip at it's bestVerified Buyer Reviewed by Washhunter from Northwest on Friday, December 5, 2014These boots are very comfortable, I wear a 9.5 or 10 in street shoes and got a size 10 in these and they fit perfect. They also grip rocks great when wading on boulders and larger rocks, they actually leave a trace of Alimiminum on the rocks you step on. I'm not sure how log the aluminum bars will last since I fish ALOT, but they are replaceable so hopefully I can get a deal on some replacements

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Missoula, MT on Friday, November 28, 2014I have only been out a few times with these boots. The aluminum bars seem to work very well on slick rocks, but watch out on smooth slippery surfaces like ice or logs. Fit seems larger than Simms boots.
