I typically wear a size 6 pant (which is what I ordered) but these ran quite large I thought, especially for patagonia. Otherwise, they fit the bill in terms of quality, style and warmth.

I needed new ski pants because I had gained 5 lbs. last winter, and am 140 lbs at 5'6". Based on other reviews stating how this runs big, I got the size 10. They are nicely insulated for skiing Lake Tahoe. I had said the waist feels true to size, but actually, the waist might be just a tad big, which might be ok with all the underclothing I wear when I go skiing. These pants are definitely made so very nice and are really ultra comfy, but as for the inseam being too long, I worry they are just a bit too long and may drag around in the snow. Maybe I need a size 8, because I have since lost the 5 lbs I gained and worry these 10's may be too big and might look too puffy on me, so maybe the 8's will be better because they won't be as long. If it were ski season, maybe I'd be better able to judge this product, but feel kinda lost right now. Anyway, I haven't decided yet whether to return these; these pants really make me feel like I am in-between sizes.
