Patagonia Rum & Cola Chukka Boots (For Women)

Ok. Not completely satisfied, but acceptable. I´ll think twice before recommendations...

I love them and they are comfortable. They have a wide toe area instead of tapering which I find very comfortable. The "difficult entry/exit" refers to the fact that one must really loosen the laces to get them off and on. Removal of the rubbery sole is difficult to snap back on. I would recommend them.

I've had these for about a year and wear them a few times a month. They've held up very well. Getting the removable sole on and off is a bit challenging, but on the upside it remains securely attached when you're wearing it. I agree with the other reviewer about ankle support - it's great and helps with a problem I didn't quite realize I had. I wouldn't recommend these shoes for heavy rain; water can get in between the sole and the removable sole. They're very good for damp, drizzly days, and were particularly useful a few weeks ago when I helped friends clean out their flooded out basement - I could easily pop off the soles to go into the clean part of the house without having to unlace my shoes.

my ankles start hurting alot when shopping, with these shoes/boots can shop/walk for hours with no pain, can also remove sole when soiled before entering the house and sole rinses easily. wearing shoe without sole in house is also a plus, feels like a slipper

really cute! but the removable outsole is a bear to actually remove. the sole looks like it will collect rainwater instead of shedding it, esp after you've had the shoes for some time and the rubber sole starts to loosen up. not a lot of cushioning for your feet, and the strap across the forefoot squeezes your foot most unpleasantly and is not adjustable. also VERY difficult to get on and off without unlacing and relacing most of the boot. they are seriously cute and I hate to return them, but not at all a good value for the price, and I say that having bought them at 30% discount.

These are perfect when it is not yet time to bring the snow boots out or when the snow is melting and your tired of the snow boots. Still working on becoming smooth with the removal of the outer part, but the concept is perfect for New England in the winter.

I was disappointed when I tried these boots on because I really like the look and style. Once on, I found the strap of the removal black outsole that goes across your foot binding. Also, it was uncomfortable to walk because the ankle part of the boot was narrow. Sadly sending them back.

The rubber removal sole pinches down on the top of my big toe with I walk. Ended up returning these.

In our lifestyle having an option to turn an inside shoe to and outside shoe sounded great. We normally take shoes off at the doorway and have slippers inside the house. This shoe does work for this, comfortable shoe for inside wear. The right shoe I got had an inside seam land right on my little toe that rubbed the first time I put them on. I was committed to breaking them in rather than sending them back (as we are limited in shoe stores where I live), so I put some mole skin on the inside of the shoe. it's better, and will probably be okay with more wear.

I only wish the outer sole were a little easier to remove, other then that I love it!
