Patagonia Synchilla® Arctic Jacket - Hooded (For Women)

It's a nice sweatshirt/fleece, but I was hoping for something more from Patagonia.It's not that much different than other fleeces I have. It's warm, but a little bulky

This jacket not for me. Collar does not protect neck from being cold. So, if you have a long neck, do not buy this jacket. Also, zipper is small and hard to engage.

Always pleased to find a hooded jacket that fits those of us with longer-than-average necks.

My husband has a men's patagonia fleece (100% ployester) and it is fabulous. I wanted one like it, so he ordered me this one in cream (winter white) thinking it would be extra warm. This fleece is not as soft as I would have expected and it is a little bulky, the main issue is that it collects hair and lint so bad I am returning it. I took the tags off and washed it and it is like a life size lint collector. It is covered in hair from my washer and dryer (UGH), and I tried using a lint brush many times to clean it up and it just looks ghetto.

This is a lovely and functional jacket, that draws compliments and makes you give a little content sigh every time you slip it on. I have only two 'complaints': 1) The hood does not move with your head, so when it's up you have to turn your whole body to see to the side 2) (this one is all my fault): Don't buy natural color if you have two black dogs. It sucks in all the hair in the house, and you look a little grubby.

I have used this jacket already since the 30-40 degree temperatures have hit. It is cut with a nice shape and is not too bulky for the amount of insulation it provides. I can wear it with a thermal turtleneck in the upper 30's-40's, but plan on wearing it under my gore-tex jackets when it gets colder. The sleeves are a little long, but with the two-layer trim, folding them over still looks good.

I live in the north west where cold conditions happen in an instant as well as moisture, which makes the cold go deep into the bones. I bought this jacket because it was a fantastic price for a Patagonia but also with the high expectations that one should have when buying from such a well known company...and I was not disapointed. I plan on purchasing another one for back up.

This Patagonia synchilla fleece hooded jacket is beautiful, fits perfectly and looks great--sleeve length is long which is great for me. Can't ask for anything more. I love it!
