I haven't had it long enough to comment on durability, but it's been great so far.

Great jacket from Patagonia. Was bought for xc-skiing and it provides good warmth and weather protection. If anything it might be a little too warm, so the design could benefit from pit zips (althought the front pockets do zip down to provide some venilation). I just wear cooler clothing underneath while skiing. As with most Patagonia gear I own -- seems to be put together well and with thought to longevity.

Truly a great price for an excellent Patagonia soft shell. Warm and weather proof....great for Spring skiing. Also stylish enough to tool around the city.

fits well, is tailored. i use it mainly for hiking, cycling in warmer winter climates and in spring and fall. the lining is soft and provides enough warmth for outdoor activities without being bulky or hot.

A very warm soft shell with quality craftsmanship and a great look. However, I returned the jacket for 2 reasons: 1) No pit zips: With fleece backing this warm, I was concerned about breathability (to be fair, I never tried it in high output activity though); 2) The wrist cuffs: The thick fleece lining goes all the way down to the edge of the cuffs. When tightening down the velcro, the material underneath bunches up in slightly awkward and bulky ways and gets hung up on things (like pockets).

I love the fit & look of this jacket. Feels true to size. A real high quality jacket for a decent price.

Typical high quality patagonia outdoor wear Needs Pit Zips....... All but a couple jackets in this class are missing this vital feature. Its a must for active wear jackets.

Great jacket at a great price. Whether walking or biking to work, sitting at a high school football game, or enjoying the outdoors, this jacket is very versatile, warm, flexible, and tough. Definitely for sub 50 degree weather though!

A do anything kind of garment. Warm and weather proof enough for most occasions here in California, very comfortable and sturdy, with enough room inside for a medium insulating layer.
