Closeouts. Patagonia's Toast and Jam leather shoes turn from lace-up indoor slipper to rugged outdoor shoe in one swift movement. A slip-on outsole hooks to the heel and around the instep of this oxford-moccasin-style shoe so you can go straight from the couch to the trail.

The slip-on/off outer sloes allow for one pair of shoes for indoors our out, with out tracking the outdoors in. Great for the RV!

Another great shoe from Patagonia. This shoe is probably best for someone with neutral foot mechanics, as it would not be one to resist much in the way of over-pronation issues. Patagonia shoes always seem to be put together well. This shoe is light weight and versitile (as it really can go from slipper mode to shoe mode easily). Several days wearing the shoe garnished many compliments.

I walk to work and don't want the salt and dirt from outside in my office, so the built in "galoshes" drew me and I love patagonia's stuff. All in all these shoes are great with a couple of cons. The peg on the heel that secures the "galoshes" snags on pant leg cuffs. And deepish puddles come over the toe box of the "galoshes" leaving a funny looking stain pattern on the toe of the shoe. Lastly the shoe is more slipper like than I thought it would be, it actually adds to the comfort level of the shoe.

i love that these have 2 soles. if the outer sole is wet... you can remove it indoors. or when traveling, use it for a gym shoe, or slipper.

The detachable rubber soles can slip when one moves laterally--making ones footing unstable. I will be surprised if these are durable, but it is too soon to tell. I suspect that they will beocme "yard shoes" on wet days here in Oregon--so they'll be much tested. The shoe without the rubber sole is definitely an indoor slipper style.
